Why You Should Choose StyleLite For Your Next Project

From high quality finishes, a range of applications, easy maintenance, durability, and a long warranty, there are a number of reasons why you should choose StyleLite for your next project.

Types of StyleLite

StyleLite acrylic panels are available in a standard moisture-resistant MDF EO format, a high quality lightweight plywood format, as well as in an acrylic sheet only format. StyleLite acrylic moisture-resistant MDF panels are suitable for a range of general purpose applications such as kitchen and vanity doors and panels, furniture, hinged wardrobe doors, and general cabinetry. When weight is a consideration, lightweight StyleLite products are particularly useful using high quality lightweight plywood, perfect for furniture and kitchen cabinetry, vanity doors and panels when fitting out the interior of caravans and RVs. StyleLite Sheets - manufactured from high quality acrylic-capped ABS - feature reverse-side treatment for superior bonding performance, and are used for high and low volume manual or machine lamination on a variety of substrates.

Finishing Options

StyleLite products are available in two forms: High TruGloss and TruMatte finishes. TruGloss offers a smooth ultra-high gloss finish that is highly reflective and almost mirror-like, whereas TruMatte has a smooth, untextured matte finish that offers increased scratch resistance compared to high gloss surfaces, as well as very little finger printing.

Durability & Maintenance

StyleLite products are easy to clean and maintain, and TruGloss products have a repairable gloss surface, with marks, light scratches and heavy scratches removable with easy to follow steps. Thanks to TruColour technology, the advanced three-layer protection technology that includes a clear UV layer and a TruColour UV layer ensures that the base colour layer doesn’t get discoloured. Thanks to its properties, StyleLite can also be refinished multiple times, and it will remain functional for many years.

Edge Finishing

StyleLite products are available with two types of edge finishing: standard edge bands and Fusion Heat Activated Edge Bands. Standard edge colour matched Edge Band rolls are available for High Gloss and Matte panel products, and as they are of premium quality, they offer high resistance to heat, abrasion, impact and colour fade, and also come pre-primed and ready for installation using EVA hot melt or PUR edge banding machinery. Alternatively, Fusion Heat Activated Edge Bands allow a seamless colour matched functional layer to bond to the board using hot air or laser equipped machinery.

Colours

TruGloss and TruMatte products are available in a wide range of colours.

Warranty

Although StyleLite products are not intended for use as structural or built-in elements, the StyleLite range of products have a generous warranty term to ensure peace of mind. Featuring a 3 year warranty for commercial usage, a 5 year warranty for caravan and RV usage, and 10 years for indoor residential usage, you won’t have to worry about faulty products.

Environmental Impact

A co-extruded, semi-rigid thermoplastic polymer sheet, StyleLite is intended as a lamination material suitable for bonding to a wide variety of substrates. StyleLite doesn’t release any emissions to the environment during manufacture or in use, and thanks to their hygienic nature, StyleLite polymer sheets do not promote bacterial growth or transmission. As the colour pigments used in StyleLite sheet don’t contain heavy metals such as lead or cadmium, it offers significant environmental advantages compared with other high gloss and matte finishes as they produce no VOCs. In addition, as StyleLite polymer sheets can be treated as ABS for recycling purposes and the recycling process only consumes 15% of the original energy consumption required to manufacture the initial sheet material.

Applications

A perfect alternative to painted panels, solid core, and high-pressure laminates, StyleLite is ideal for use in the retail sector, and is used by many well-known retail brands. It also offers applications for commercial, social, and cultural environments such as offices, hotels, museums, sporting facilities and showrooms. StyleLite leads the way in elegant and practical cabinetry, furniture, and fixture solutions.
